Setting range 25 to 60 °C
Minimum return temperature
Not the heat pump but the electric
heater is started when the actual tem-
perature falls below the minimum
return temperature on the secondary
side.
The electric heater stays ON until the
minimum return temperature has
been reached.
Note
The compressor wear will increase
through more frequent low pressure
shutdowns, if the minimum return tem-
perature is set too low.
Setting the minimum return tempera-
ture too high increases the proportion
of electric heating, resulting in
reduced efficiency. This problem
occurs primarily when heating up a
cold building.
