5. Terminate the test program with

BACK ".
Checking the primary and secondary pumps
1. Start the test program:
Menu item
& " System settings "
& " Tech. service level "
& " Commissioning "
& " Primary pump "
Note
The compressor will start automati-
cally after expiry of the 250 s long
test.
The time elapsed since the start of
the test program is shown in the top
r.h. corner of the display. Further-
more, the status of all components
that are part of the test procedure
is displayed.
2. Checking the circulation on the pri-
mary side (brine circuit)
&
The primary inlet (display " Pri-
mary input ") and outlet (display
" Primary off ") must show identi-
cal, low temperatures.
&
The pump casing of the primary
cooling circuit pump must not
heat up (check by touching the
casing).
Otherwise
&
Vent the primary circuit.
&
Check the pump connections.
&
Select a different pump stage or
use an external pump.
3. Start the compressor by
pressing "
ON ".
4. Check the primary pump:
Determine the temperature differ-
ential
Δ
T between the primary inlet
(display " Primary input ") and out-
let (display " Primary off ").
Set values
Δ
T:
& 3 to 5 K at 35 °C for " Secondary
flow " and 10 °C for " Primary
input "
& 2 to 4 K at 35 °C for " Secondary
flow " and 0 °C for " Primary
input "
5. Check the secondary pump:
Determine the temperature differ-
ential

T between the " Secondary
flow " and the " Secondary return ".
Set values

4 to 13 K at 35 °C for " Secondary
flow " and 10 °C for " Primary
input "
&
3 to 10 K at 35 °C for " Secondary
flow " and 0 °C for " Primary
input "
6. Record the results in the service
report from page 143.
If the set values are not achieved:
&
Vent the primary circuit.
&
Vent the secondary circuit.
&
Check the pump connections.
&
Select a different pump stage or
use a larger pump.
