Back-flushing
1. Disconnect the back-flush waste line from the back-flush capillary.
2. Connect the Viper connector to the T piece.
3. Connect the back-flush waste line to the flow cell inlet.
4. Route the free end of the back-flush waste line to waste.
5. Connect the Viper connector of the back-flush kit to the flow cell
outlet.

6. Turn on the pump flow at the flow rate as determined in
section Determining the required pump flow .
7. Write down the pressure at the beginning of the flushing.
8. Flush the flow cell for 2 minutes with the back-flushing agent.
9. Stop the pump flow.
10. Forward flush the flow cell (see section Forward flushing below ).
