Spectra Optia Apheresis System Operator’s Manual

Ending the Run and Completing the Procedure

Place the tubing into the jaw of the head and squeeze the lever until the jaw is completely closed and the 
indicator light illuminates (Figure 15-2).

After the indicator light goes off, hold the jaw closed for one second, and then release the lever.

Remove the tubing and inspect the integrity of the seal.

Put the sealer head back into the holder on the Spectra Optia system.
