Maintenance Information
Adjusting Single Power Supply System
1.
Remove the left and right rear access panels of the power supply if they have
not previously been removed.
NOTE:
The –5.2V supply is labeled –5V.
2.
Measure each of the supply voltages (+5, –5.2, +13, –13, and +48 Vdc), between
the COM test point and the respective power supply test point. Important: Do
not measure from chassis ground to the test points.
CAUTION
DO NOT USE the large power supply terminals when adjusting the +5 Volt power
supply. You must USE THE TEST POINTS, or your adjustment will be incorrect
and the voltage set too low at the Signal Processor Frame.
3.
Refer to
for adjustment locations. Using a trimpot adjustment tool,
adjust the supplies to within 20mV of their labeled voltages. Remember to set
the supply labeled –5V to –5.2V.
4.
Turn off the power supply and replace the rear covers.
5.
The system may now be turned on for normal operation.
