Description
Ack Number
Sets the TCP header ack number pattern on which to trigger.
Tap a Binary, Hex or Decimal field and use the A and B knobs to select and change the
values. Or double-tap on the field and use the virtual keypad to enter values.
Available when Trigger On = TCP Header.
Data Bytes
Sets the number of client data bytes on which to trigger (one to sixteen bytes).
Tap the field and use the A knob to change the value. Or double-tap on the field and use the
virtual keypad to enter values.
Available when Trigger On = Client Data.
Byte Offset
Sets the client data byte offset (Don't Care or the number of bytes).
Tap the field and use the A knob to change the value. Or double-tap on the field and use the
virtual keypad to enter values.
Available when Trigger On = Client Data.
Client Data
Sets the data pattern on which to trigger. The number of bits shown depends on the Data Bytes
setting. Use in conjunction with the Trigger When field to specify the exact trigger condition.
Tap the Binary, Hex or ASCII field and use the A and B knobs to select and change the values.
Or double-tap on the field and use the virtual keypad to enter values.
Available when Trigger On = Client Data.
Client Data Low, Client Data
High
Sets the boundary data values when testing for in-range or out of range conditions. The number
of bits shown depends on the Data Bytes setting. Use in conjunction with the Trigger When
field to specify the exact trigger condition.
Tap the Binary, Hex or ASCII field and use the A and B knobs to select and change the values.
Or double-tap on the field and use the virtual keypad to enter values.
Available when Trigger On = Client Data and Trigger When = Inside Range or Outside
Range.
Trigger When
Sets the trigger when condition.
When set to Inside Range or Outside Range, fields are displayed to set a high and low
boundary pattern for the specified trigger type.
Tap the Binary or Hex field and use the A and B knobs to select and change the values. Or
double-tap on the field and use the virtual keypad to enter values.
Available when Trigger On = MAC Length/Type or Client Data.
A, B knob controls
Use the A knob to select (highlight) the digit(s) to change.
Use the B knob to change the value of the digit(s).
