ENGINE

THREAD LOCK

"1342"

99000-32050

Before mounting the oil pump, apply engine oil

to the sliding surfaces of the case, outer rotor,

inner rotor and shaft.

Apply a small quantity of THREAD LOCK

"1342" to the threaded parts of oil pump

mounting screws.

Tighten the oil pump mounting screws.

NOTE:
After mounting the oil pump in the crankcase,
rotate the pump gear by hand to see if it
turns smoothly.

After checking the oil pump, install the oil pump

drive gear, lock washer and nut, tighten it with a

torque wrench to the specified torque and bend

up the washer.

NOTE:
This is a left-hand thread nut.

Tightening torque

40 60 N m

(4.0 6.0 kg m)
