CLUTCH RELEASE BEARING
Inspect the release bearing for any abnormality,
particularly cracks, to decide whether it can be
reused or should be replaced.
Smooth engagement and disengagement of the
clutch depends much on the condition of this
bearing.
SHIFTING FORK AND GEAR
Using a thickness gauge, check the shifting fork
clearance in the groove of its gear. If the clearance
limit is exceeded by any of the three gears,
determine whether the gear or the gear shifting
fork should be replaced by measuring the
thickness and groove width.
