BRUSH HOLDER AND HOUSING END
When fixing brush holder to starter motor case,
align the protrusion of the starter motor case
with the notch of the brush holder.
When installing housing end, fix the protrusion
of the starter motor case to the notch on the
housing end.

STARTER MOTOR REASSEMBLY
SECURING SCREWS
Apply THREAD LOCK "1342" to starter motor
securing screws.

Disconnect lead wire of the starter motor at starter
relay.
Turn on the ignition switch, inspect the continuity
between the terminals, positive and negative,
when pushing the starter button.
If the starter relay is in sound condition, continuity
is found.

STARTER RELAY INSPECTION

Pocket tester 09900-25002
Check the coil for "open", and ohmic
resistance. The coil is in good condition if the
resistance is as follows.
"ground"
