Presetting a station
The radio mode has a preset function and
can store the amount of stations as
follows.
AM: up to 6 stations for each band (AM1/
AM2)
FM: up to 6 stations for each band (FM1/
FM2/FM3)
When a station name has been acquired,
the station name will be displayed instead
of the frequency.
1. Tune in the desired station.
2. If you press a key for more than 1.5
seconds, the system stores the frequency
to the selected preset channel.
For Europe, for Australia:
When a station name has been acquired,
the station name will be displayed instead
of the frequency.
Except for Europe:

To change the preset station to a
different one, select and hold the
preset station.

Radio data system (for Europe, for
Australia)
RDS (Radio Data System) is an FM
multiplex broadcasting system that is
popular in Europe, and it transmits digital
information as subcarrier signals on FM
radio. RDS broadcasts program informa-
tion and text information, etc.
The transmitted data of RDS contains the
control data so that the system can
continue to receive the same radio pro-
gram when driving across several loca-
tions.
