Drive Actuation
In the interface between the FM 453 and the drive, apart from the actuating
signal for the velocity setpoint for the traversing movement of the axis, other
signals are exchanged.

Overview of Drive Actuation
These signals are used to activate the drive.
The “Controller ready” signal can be connected to the FM 453 either via the
X1 connector at TTL level, or X2, with the 24 V level (see Section 4) and
can be parameterized with respect to its active level.
“Control enable” is output as a closed contact when active (see Section 4.2).
