Programming of New Start and Restart
A new start of the MOBY-ASM is triggered by setting the “init_run” variable. The
ASM and FC 56 are completely reparameterized and synchronized with init_run.
An init_run is required after:
S
SIMATIC is turned on (OB 100).
S
Power supply of ASM is turned on.
S
PROFIBUS communication is interrupted.
S
Error message from variable “error_BUS”.

With a distributed layout of an ASM (e.g., with PROFIBUS), the ASM may
sometimes be turned off and on again due to the system (see chap. 5.4). When
this happens, the ASM reports the power failure to the FC 56 (and thus to the
user). The user must then perform an init_run for this ASM before a MOBY
command can be started again.
Remember:
The “init_run” variable is set to TRUE in the included project. This automatically
causes an “init_run” when the parameter data block is loaded to the controller
(see table 3-1).
