WRITE

The WRITE command can be used to write an entire file

or only a part of the file. If only part of a file is written, old

file data are retained at the end of the file.
UPDATE

The UPDATE command always writes a complete file.

The start address must always be 1000. If the new file

data are not as long as the old file data, the new file has

the length of the new file data. The memory reserved for

this file is retained, however.
