Determine the voltages and currents required to simulate a phase-phase fault at
the boundary of the desired relay reach (using ONEBUS or similar method).
Currents and voltages required to test the Zone 1 ground distance element reach
of the example settings appear in Table 7.8:

Adjust the test set voltages and currents to the values in Table 7.8. Do not turn
on the currents at this point.

Turn on the voltage sources VA, VB, and VC.
6.
Apply current to the relay and ramp the current source magnitudes together
until the monitored output contact closes, indicating pickup. Record the pickup
current threshold and compare it to the calculated threshold.
