Use this troubleshooting guide to help you diagnose and solve some common problems that you may encounter with your
EXZES
X
2.4GHz FHSS-3
radio control system. If you cannot solve the problem using this troubleshooting guide, please contact your
nearest Sanwa or Airtronics Customer Service Center. See the back cover of this Operating Manual for contact information.
Transmitter does not turn ON. No Power
Indicator
Alarm sounds a series of beeps
Alarm sounds a continuous double beep
Alarm sounds a periodic double beep
No sound when Programming Keys are
pressed
No change in display when Programming
Keys are pressed
Servo movement is slow
Left and right steering angles are different,
even though settings are the same
Servo will not move to the end of its range
Servo does not move when using Trim switch
Lap Timer and Interval Timer do not function
Control sticks do not center

Check Command signal settings
Turn Key-Lock switch OFF
Check Servo Speed menu settings
Replace or recharge receiver batteries
Adjust control linkages to operate freely
Center Trim and adjust Sub-Trim
Reset linkage on the servo for more travel
from servo and reset settings
Reset trim to zero and center the servo horn
and linkage on servo
Turn timers ON
Tighten spring tension
Ensure Modulation Type matches the type of
receiver you're using
Quickly press the ENTER key after releasing
the Bind Button on the receiver
Compatible receivers include Sanwa or
Airtronics 2.4GHz FHSS-2 and FHSS-3
Disconnect ESC and use dry cell battery
for Binding procedure, then reconnect ESC
after binding
Servo Monitor displays Trim and Sub-Trim as
movement. This is normal
This is a safety feature. Turn transmitter OFF,
press and HOLD Display Key for ~ 3 seconds
to turn Multi-Function LCD ON, make Modulation
changes, then turn transmitter ON
Replace or fully charge receiver batteries
This is normal when the Fail Safe function
