Format
Sets the transmission protocol of the R&S
EX-IQ-BOX for receiving or sending a base-
band signal from or to an external device (DUT) via the user interface of the R&S
EX-IQ-
BOX.
"Serial"
Tranmsits each sample serially, i.e. bitwise from the DUT to the
R&S
EX-IQ-BOX or vice versa.
Example:
The following graph shows an incoming serial I/Q signal from the DUT:

Direction = Receiver
Format
= Serial
In serial mode, I data and Q data are sent via the input and output pins
IO and QO, respectively.
