Transport, packaging and storage
Safety warnings for transport
The press and generator must always be transported separately.
Always observe the transport instructions on the packaging.
▪ The transport must be carried out by specially trained skilled personnel
only.
The following personal protective equipment must be worn for all transport
work:
▪ Safety boots
▪ Safety gloves
The operator must make it compulsory that personal protective equipment
be worn.
WARNING
Suspended loads. Falling parts or uncontrolled movement of
suspended parts.
Danger of severe or even fatal injuries!
• Never stand below suspended loads.
• Observe the information about the attachment points
provided.
• Do not attach to protruding parts of the machine or to the
eyebolts of attached components. Make sure that the sling
gear is securely attached.
• Only use approved hoisting equipment and sling gear with
a sufficient load-bearing capacity.
• Do not use torn or frayed ropes and belts.
• Do not rest ropes and straps against sharp edges or
corners, nor tie in knots or twist.
WARNING
Tipping loads.
Danger of severe injury!
• Secure transport packages to transport pallets to prevent
tipping.
• Only use suitable hoisting equipment.
• Only move loads under supervision.
WARNING
Off-centre centre of gravity. Incorrect attachment. Tipping or
falling load.
Danger of severe injury!
• Observe the markings on packages.
• Attach the crane hook so that it is above the centre of
gravity.
• Carefully lift and check to see if the load tips. If necessary,
change the slinging point.
