What to do in the event a fault poses a risk
The following basically applies:
▪ Switch off the machine immediately in the event of faults that pose an
immediate risk to persons or property.
▪ Determine the cause.
▪ Notify the relevant persons at the machine location about the fault.
▪ When troubleshooting the problem, make sure that the machine cannot be
switched on.
▪ Have the fault rectified by specially qualified personnel.
Troubleshooting
In the event of errors that are not caused by the application, contact the next
RINCO ULTRASONICS AG service centre immediately.
General errors

Check mains voltage.
Check fuse.
Control via digital I/Os
not possible
Check voltage supply 24 VDC_IO_IN.
Noise
Check mount.
Check tightening torque of oscillator system
(between converter, booster and sonotrode).
Check power loss of oscillator system in a
clamped and unclamped state; replace converter,
booster, sonotrode if necessary.
Thermal energy
Depending on the application, we recommend a
cooling of the converter and sonotrode.
Unusual heat build-up may be the result of loose
components and cracks in the oscillator system.
