Image problems may appear at regular intervals that depend on the circumference of
certain components.
The following diagram shows the possible symptoms (black or white dots at regular intervals).
[A]: Paper feed direction
[B]: Problems at regular intervals
Enter the SP mode, and then select SP2-109-003.
1.
Select the test pattern to print from the list, and then press [OK].
•
"13 (Independent Pattern (4dot))" pattern is recommended to identify the problem
color.

Select
SP2-109-005
(1: Full Color, 2: Cyan, 3: Magenta, 4: Yellow, 5: Black) to select the
printing color.

To change the density of test pattern, select density with
SP2-109-006
to
009
for each
color.
If select "0" with
SP2-109-006
through 009, the color adjusted so will not show up in the
test pattern.
4.
Press "Copy Window", then specify the settings on the copier application for test print
(paper size etc…).
5.
Press "Start" to start the test print.
