EBL with a dash mark for VRM setting
If VRM function is not activated during EBL operation, but a VRM value is set within the shown radar range,
a dash line is seen on EBL at regarding distance.
The regarding value is shown in
EBL/VRM control cell right downside of
radar image.
3.5.4
Combined EBL/VRM function - ERBL
If EBL1 and VRM1, respective EBL2 and VRM2 are activated, they can be used as combined measuring
function. Move the cursor to the crossing point of EBL1 and VRM1. The cursor changes to . When this
symbol is shown, click and hold and move the cursor to the wanted position. EBL and VRM crossing point
follow the cursor. At needed position unclick and the EBL/VRM, in this case named ERBL (Electronic Range
and Bearing Line), stay at the new position. Readings can be made directly from the regarding windows.
Note:
Only EBL1 and VRM1 or EBL2 and VRM2 can be combined, but not the numbered 1 with the
numbered 2.

Alternative ERBL setting
In right downside menu block click [EBL/VRM] to open the regarding menu.
In this menu, now you can adjust VRM and EBL step by step, by clicking the regarding arrow button [ < ] or [
> ]. Or click into the shown value cell. The cell changes to lightened colour. To change, move the trackball
up or down, or move right or left. To fix the value, click again.
Additional the changing can be done direct in radar image.
Move the cursor on to the
rangering, it changes to . You
can adjust the range ring.
Move the cursor on the EBL, it
changes to . You can adjust the
EBL.
Move the cursor on to the
intersection point of EBL and VRM,
it changes to . You can adjust
the EBL and VRM together.
3.5.4.2
Padlock function
The previously explained combined EBL/VRM mode is active, when the padlock in the EBL/VRM menu is
opened. An alternative combined cursor mode is available with locked padlock. Click on the open padlock
symbol. It closes and shows activated function.
Now you can move the cursor to any point on the VRM or on the EBL. The cursor changes to the combined
symbol . Click and move a little. Then the EBL respective the VRM will jump at once from any other
position to the cursor position. Adjusting happens now simultaneous for EBL and VRM together.
