Reference Target used for OS-position and for COG/SOG calculation
To use explicit Reference Target for OS-position and COG/SOG calculation, mark the menu circle beside of
'REF TGT MAN POS'.
Position-data and COG/SOG-data calculated by Ref.Target.
REF TGT may also be set or corrected by input of
Lat/Lon-Data into the shown data-fields.
The regarding settings are only activated by
clicking the button 'Apply Changes'.
Automatic switch over to GPS-data, if data available
IF GPS-Data are missed, but needed as soon as possible and nevertheless SOG/COG-values must be
calculated by reference target, mark the menu circle beside of 'auto switch with GPS priority'.
OS-position calculated by Ref.-target due to faulty GPS-data.
OS-position received by automatic activated GPS-data.
Lat/Lon-data for Ref-target may be
applied.
COG/SOG still calculated according to Ref.-target.
The display of geographically referenced maps is disabled if only a single reference target is defined and
used, or if the position is manually entered.
Attention
: A loss of the reference target has a major impact on the accuracy of the results for true speed
and true course, and own speed will be degraded.
