Select Azimuth modes
According to example, the left button shows
[N UP] / [C UP] / [H UP STAB] or [H UP].
[H UP STAB] is the stabilization mode “Head Up Stab” which is a combination of existing functions (Head up
+ True Bearing scale).
To change, click regarding button, to popup the three alternatives. Click the needed one.
3.4.4
Heading line Reset in C UP mode
When selecting [C UP], the heading line is pointed vertical into upside direction. But when the course
changes, the heading line moves accordingly. As soon as the altering course exceeds a default set limit
angle of 20°, an automatic reset happens to the vertical upside direction.
The default setting can be altered as follows:
Click menu button [SYSTEM].
Click into head cell or click [<] or [>] and select 'Course-Up
settings.
Select an angle difference for the resetting and mark the tick-
box.
Additional a time limit can be set. Then a reset occurs
when time limit has reached, independent from set limit
angle.
Setting will be done in same menu
Click the time cell and select a needed time limit
Mark the tick box to activate function.

HDG changes, HL indicates HDG at
bearing/compass scale. Original HDG at
top, until CUP is pressed for reset to top.
An automatic reset happens, when course
offset gets bigger than 20° or at menu
altered settings (chapt 3.4.4).
Current HDG set at top.
