Automatic Gain Message
This message controls the automatic gain in the sonar processor.
Syntax:
*AGAN,N<CR><LF>
Parameters:
N = 0: Off
N = 1 to 10: Set out threshold equal to selected numeric value.
Example:
*AGAN,1<CR><LF>
This example turns automatic gain on and sets out the threshold 1.

Annotation Message
This message prints strings on the sonar screen.
Syntax:
*ANNO,N,STRING<CR><LF>
Parameters:
N = 1: String Number 1
N = 2: String Number 2
STRING = Text to be displayed on the sonar screen.
Example:
*ANNO,1,RESON<CR><LF>
This example will print the text “RESON” on the sonar screen
display.
