the format selected (Format).
Selection of faster ping rates may cause
some packets to be lost due to baud rate constraints.
Ethernet:
Output via Ethernet port at rear of sonar processor. Packets
will be transmitted at an interval based on the selected range and data
rate (MaxRate), and in the format selected (Format).
This allows for
much higher transmission rates.
5.9.7.3
Select RS-232 Baud Rate (ProfileBD)
Controls the baud rate for data packets when the system is in RS-232 output
mode.
5.9.7.4
Select Time Synchronization Baud Rate (TimeBD )
Controls the input baud rate for time synchronization packets from a Data
Acquisition System.
5.9.7.5
Select the Control Message Baud Rate (ContrlBD)
Allows control of the input baud rate for control messages from an external
modem.
5.9.7.6
Select Motion Reference Unit Baud Rate (MotionBD)
Selects the baud rate to match the input from the Motion Reference Unit (MRU).
5.9.7.7
Select CTD Sensor Baud Rate (VelctyBD)
Selects the baud rate to match the input from a CTD sensor.
5.9.7.8
Select UDP Base Port Number (UDP Base)
Allows the user to define the base UDP Port number for Ethernet
communications. All other UDP ports will be selected automatically. (See
5.9.7.9
Set Head Orientation (Oriented)
Defines whether the sonar array is oriented with the transmit array forward or aft
of the hydrophone.
ProjFwd:
The transmit array is forward of the hydrophone.
ProjAft:
The transmit array is aft of the hydrophone.
