C.3.1.39 TVG Coefficients
This message sets the sonar processor TVG coefficients.
Syntax:
*STVG,SPREADING,ABSORPTION<CR><LF>
Parameters:
SPREADING = The value is represented in quarters of a dB. The
value should be multiplied by 4 (0 to 240 = 0.0 to 60.0 * log
(Range))
ABSORPTION = The absorption value. Range from 0 to 120
dB/km.
Example:
*STVG,20,60<CR><LF>
This message sets Spreading Loss to 5dB and the absorption to
60 dB/km.
C.3.1.40 Sidescan
This message sets the sonar processor sidescan output format.
Syntax:
*STYP,N<CR><LF>
Parameters:
N = 0: Off
N = 1: Average new
N = 2: RMS new
N = 3: Full new
N = 4: Off.
N = 5: Average old
N = 6: RMS old
N = 7: Full old
Example:
*STYP,1<CR><LF>
This message sets the sidescan
output to “Average New”.
