Ink discharge channel:
When mounting the REA JET HR stripper plate to a print head, a small channel (6) is created
between the stripper plate and the front side of the print head. If a cartridge is defective, this gap
enables the ink to discharge between the print head and the stripper plate. The objective of this is
to prevent ink from running to the print head and destroying the electronics. However, this cannot
be guaranteed and depends on the condition (cleanliness) of the print head.

Screw connections on the side of the stripper plate.
The REA JET HR stripper plates are connected at the side with the print head. This prevents any
potential damage to products resulting from fastening holes and screws in the front of the stripper
plate. For lateral connection, the stripper plate has to be inserted over the print head. To balance
out potential manufacturing tolerances of the print head case and lid, the stripper plate is only
mounted form fit and force fit on one side of the print head. A gap is created on the other side (7).
The size of the gap is determined by the tolerances of the various components.

Print height:
Per print head (per cartridge) the REA JET HR achieves a max. print height of 12.7 mm. If greater
print heights are required, REA JET HR
2K can cascade max. 2 print heads and REA JET HR
4K max. 4. Further information can be found in chapter 3.2.2.2.2.
