Firmware Update

The firmware update can be carried out via this menu item. A xxx.hru file is required for the
firmware update. This file must be stored on a USB storage medium, which is to be connected via
one of the USB connections to the

. Start the update with the start

element.
File selection on the USB storage medium is done via rotary knob.
Start the process by pressing the knob and following the menu instructions.

The update can be performed directly on devices with firmware
1.84 and higher. For devices with a lower firmware version, an
update has to be performed to version 1.84 first. Since version 1.84
is included on our delivery CD and it is available on our website,
this two-step process should not be very difficult.
Please reset your device to factory settings after each update.
Please note that all data will be deleted when resetting. Therefore
please perform a backup beforehand.

The USB storage medium must have the FAT16 or FAT32 format.

Please note that firmware updates can only be performed to high
versions. A downgrade to an older version is not possible. Please
consult your REA contact.
