It is imperative that the direction of the product is taken into account when using a parallelogram.
The parallelogram must always be integrated / mounted so that it can swing away if it should collide
with a product.

The parallelogram offered by REA JET can be used for printing from the side as well as printing
from the top. In line with these two applications, the parallelogram must fulfill various requirements.
When printing from the side, the print head generally has to be led (pressed) to the
product. Depending on the extent to which the distance (as well as it bandwidth) has to
be evened out and the product speed the contact pressure has to be able to be set in a
wide range.
When printing from the top, the swinging link of the parallelogram usually has to be
relieved. The degree of relief is based on the product to be printed (sensitivity of the
surface) and has to be adjusted to the number of the installed print heads.
The following pages describe the different setting options of the parallelogram for the two operating
modes. To extend the setting range there, the parallelogram is provided with 3 different "hard"
spring assemblies.
