3.2.2.4.2 Two print heads on a retainer rod
The assembly sequence for the retainer rod with a print head group does not differ from that of a
single print head. This is why we have refrained from repeating the fundamental steps described in
chapter 3.2.2.4.1 here.

As the print heads are installed on one side of the retainer rod, there is a certain torque. When
assembled, this has no effect on the stability of the installation. During setup (e.g. with a clamp to
be loosened) however, this can make performing the settings more difficult. In this case it does not
matter whether the retainer rod had been installed on the left, right or the bottom. Only the
installation of the retainer rod from the bottom to the center print head of a group of three print
heads is an exception in this case. To provide equally balanced installation for groups with 2 or 4
print heads, REA JET offers a group holder.
