Chapter 4  Manual OS Installation

4.4.3 Windows 2000 Server

Insert the driver disk created from the ServerStart CD-ROM into the server.

Right-click the [My Computer] icon on the desktop and select [Manage] from 

the displayed menu.

Click [Device Manager].

Two ports of the fibre channel, which is installed in the 2Gbit/s FC I/O Module, are displayed 

with the names below.

• [Fibre channel controller] under [Other devices]

Double-click each fibre channel controller and perform the following Steps 4 to 10 on all fibre 

channel ports.

Click the [Driver] tab and click [Update Driver].

The [Start Device Driver Upgrade Wizard] window appears.

Click [Next].

The [Install Hardware Device Driver] window appears.

Select [Find an optimum driver (Recommended)] and click [Next].

The [Identify Driver File] window appears.

Select [Floppy disk drive] in [Search location options] and click [Next].

Message "The next device driver was found." appears.

Click [Next].

The driver will be installed.

Click [Finish].
