● An HSSDC2 (high-speed serial data connection)-to-HSSDC2 copper cable
is used.
● An SFP-to-SFP copper cable is used.
● An SFP-to-HSSDC2 hybrid copper cable is used.
Note: 2 Gb/s optical SFPs should not be inserted into any fabric port when the
SSF is configured to run at 4 Gb/s. If such an SFP is inserted into a fabric port,
the system disables the port, even after a restart of the Pillar Axiom 600 system.
Note: If the SSF is being configured for 4 Gb/s operation, the SFP modules must
be installed prior to connecting the optical cables.
