Safety Notice Conventions
Hazard signal words conform to the American National Standards Institute
(ANSI) Z535.4-2002 meanings. This guide uses the following conventions for
safety notices:
Caution
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation that, if not
avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury.
Warning
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation that, if not
avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
Danger
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation that, if not
avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
Important! To emphasize a point, to remind you of something, or to indicate
potential problems in the outcome of the in-process task.
A set of important safety notices apply throughout this guide. Read them before
working on a Pillar Axiom 600 system.
