4.1.4 Configure Dynamic DNS

Dynamic DNS allows you to make an assumed name as a dynamic IP address to a static hostname. Please click on

System -> DDNS

and follow the below setting.

Service:

By default, it's “

Disable

”. To “

Enable

” to activate this function. Each time your IP address for WAN is

changed, the information will be updated to DDNS service provider automatically.

Service Provider:

Select the correct Service Provider from the drop-down list, here included are

dyndns

dhs

ods

and

tzo

embedded in the WMS-308N.

Hostname:

This field represents the Host Name you register to Dynamic-DNS service and expect to export to

the world.

User Name & Password:

User Name and Password is used as an identity to login DDNS service.

Change these settings as described here and click

Save

button to save your changes. Click

Reboot

button to

activate your changes
