Defining a Channel Group for a Terminal or PC (External Systems Port)
From the Configuration Menu,
1. TYPE: 7
PRESS: Enter
The Group Definition Summary screen appears.
2. Choose an unassigned Channel Group Number between 1 and 63.
3. To return to the Configuration menu,
PRESS: Enter
4. TYPE: 4
PRESS: Enter
The system displays the following prompt:
(Node xxx) enter dial sequence >
5. TYPE: The channel group number you want defined
PRESS: Enter
The Group Type menu appears.
6. TYPE: 1
PRESS: Enter
The Local Group Definition parameters menu appears. The parameters on your screen
should match those shown below.

None
2) Security Password
Inactive
3) Call Queuing
Inactive
4) Dial Restriction
None
5) Incoming Restriction
None
D) Delete
S) Save
7. To select Group Members parameter,
TYPE: 1
PRESS: Enter
8. To add the Channel Group Number to the Local Group Definition parameters menu,
TYPE: 1
PRESS: Enter
