9. If a parameter setting on your screen does not match that parameter setting shown above,
TYPE: the number of the item that does not match
PRESS: Enter
The screen for that parameter appears.

10. When all the parameters are correct, save the parameters and update the NAP.

If the terminal or PC is connected to the NAP just configured as an ELP port, the terminal
or PC will be cut off at this point. If this is the case, you can now disconnect the terminal or
PC from the multiplexer and then connect the cables between the NMS host computer, the
multiplexer(s), and the printer.
If the terminal or PC is connected to a NAP configured as a supervisory NAP, The Event
Log Printer parameters screen appears again with the updated parameters.
11. If the remaining NAP on this multiplexer is already configured the way you want it to be,
go to Step 12. If you want to configure the other NAP,
a. Return to the Network Configuration menu:

b. Go to one of the previous sections to configure the port as another type of NAP (such as
an event datagram NAP).
c. Go to Step 12.
