Before connecting

Before connecting, carefully read the operating instructions for the external de

ice to be connected.

When connecting a cable to a de

ice connected to the projector or the projector itself, touch any nearby

etallic objects to eli

inate static electricity fro

your body before perfor

ing

ork.

Do not use unnecessarily long cables to connect a de
v
ice to the projector or to the projector body. The longer
the cable, the
m
ore susceptible to noise it beco
m
es. Since using a cable
w
hile it is
w
ound
m
akes it act like an
antenna, it is
m
ore susceptible to noise.

When connecting cables, connect GND

rst, then insert the connecting ter
m
inal of the connecting de

ice in a
straight

anner.

Acquire any connection cable necessary to connect the external de
v
ice to the syste
m
that is neither supplied

ith the de
v
ice nor a
v
ailable as an option.

Install the Interface Board necessary for the

ideo equip

ent to connect

ith the projector to the slot in
ad
v
ance.
Requesting a quali

ed technician to install or re

o
v
e the optional Interface Board is reco
mm
ended. A

alfunction

ay occur due to static electricity.
