4.2.6 Setting Judgement Criteria in JUDGEMENT CRITERIA SETTING mode
In JUDGEMENT CRITERIA SETTING mode, you can set the minimum and maximum area limits that the unit
judges as OK in mm

. Upon the completion of teaching, the area limits have been set for the type of teaching
and detected area. Change the limits as necessary in JUDGEMENT CRITERIA SETTING mode.
Operation in JUDGEMENT CRITERIA SETTING mode
The number in < > in the table below represents the button number of the
operation unit (see the figure on the right).
In INSPECTION (or RUN) mode In JUDGEMENT CRITERIA SETTING mode (“SET” is
displayed on the operation unit.)
Top line: Product type number and current min.
area limit*
Bottom line: L (min. value), minimum value to be
set
<7>: Increases the min. value
<8>: Decreases the min. value
Top line: Product type number and current max.
area limit*
Bottom line: H (max. value), maximum value to
be set
<7>: Increases the max. value
<8>: Decreases the max. value
The current min. and max. area limits indicate the currently registered ones. Refer them to change
the value or return to the original value in the bottom line. When you enters JUDGEMENT
CRITERIA SETTING mode again after setting the min. and max. area limits and changing to RUN
mode, the current setting value in the bottom line is displayed as a “current value” in the top line.
