MP3
A file format that enables music to be played on a computer, using technology that compresses
music data to about 1/10th its original size, with very little negative effect on sound quality.
MPEG
A technology that efficiently compresses digital video data. MPEG2 is one of this technology
with outstanding image quality and is used in DVD-Video and other media. Another related
technology, MPEG1, uses a lower compression rate than MPEG2, and is used in Video CD.
There is also an MPEG4 standard, which is designed for distribution of video with low picture
quality or high compression rates through telephone lines and other lines with low
communication speeds.

and Windows, but NTFS offers far greater robustness, security, and performance.
