Problems with Starting Up, Shutting Down, and Standby and
Hibernation Mode
Enter the Windows user name and password without using the SD memory card.
After logging on to Windows, set the same user name and the password on the SD
memory card and Windows, using one of the following operations:
• Change the setting of the SD memory card side by [SD Card Setup]
• Change the setting of the Windows side by [Control Panel]

If you create a user account after Windows setup, the Administrator account used during
Windows setup does not appear on the logon screen.
To logon with the Administrator account, in the logon screen, press the

key twice, enter "Administrator" in [User name], and enter the password if one is set, then
click [OK].
z
Check if there is a Panasonic external floppy disk drive connected (CF-VFDU03). It is not
possible to boot from other floppy disk drives.
z
Check that the boot disk is correctly inserted.
z
Make sure [Legacy USB Support] is set to [Enable] in the Setup Utility (
).
z
Turn off the computer, and reconnect the external floppy disk drive.
z
Check whether a floppy disk not allowing system booting is inserted in the floppy disk
drive. If it is inserted, remove, then press any key.
z
If a USB device is connected, remove the USB device, or set [Legacy USB Support] to
[Disable] in the [Advanced] menu of the Setup Utility. (

If after all the checks, the same message still appears, there may be a problem with the
hard disk.
Perform the reinstallation procedure and return the hard disk to its condition at the time of
purchase. (
