Command Syntax
SYSTem:COMMunicate:LAN:DHCP[:ENABle]
Description
This command turns DHCP mode for the LAN interface on or off. DHCP
= Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol”. This protocol automatically
provides an IP address and other related information such as the
subnet mask and default gateway.
When turned off, a static IP address must be assigned by the user
instead.

Command Syntax
SYSTem:COMMunicate:LAN:DHCP:RENEW
Description
This command renews the lease of an IP address assigned through the
DCHP protocol. This may be necessary if the power source has not been
used in a while and its IP address lease has expired. If not renewed, a
different IP address may be assigned.

SYSTem:COMMunicate:LAN:ADDress
Description
This command is used to assign a fixed IP address to the power source
for LAN communication.
Parameters
ddd.ddd.ddd.ddd (four octets ranging in value from 0 to 255
representing one 16 bit unsigned integer value each.

Description
This query returns the MAC address of the connected power source.
The Media Access Control address or MAC address is also referred to as
physical address as it is fix and unique to any device on the network.
The MAC address for the power source is also printed on the rear panel
near the LAN interface connector. It consists of 8 sets of hexadecimal
16 bit unsigned integer values.
