Time Zone can also be set to UTC which replaced Greenwich Mean Time as the World standard for
time in 1986.
Configuring NTP ensures the Opengear appliance clock is kept accurate (once Internet connection has
been established).
1.
Select the
Enable NTP
checkbox in the
Network Time Protocol
section of the
System > Date &
Time
page

Enter the IP address of the remote
NTP Server
3.
If your external NTP server requires authentication, you need to specify the
NTP Authentication
Key
and the K
ey Index
to use when authenticating with the NTP server
4.
Click
Apply NTP Settings
