Select the
Serial & Network > RPC Connections
menu. This displays the RPC connections that
have already been configured

Click
Add RPC

Connected Via
presents a list of serial ports and network Host connections that you have set up
with device type RPC (but have yet to connect to a specific RPC device):

If you select
Connect Via
for a Network RPC connection, enter the Host Name/Description
that you set up for that connection as the
Name
and
Description
for the power device

If you select
Connect Via
a Serial connection, enter a
Name
and
Description
for the power
device
6.
Select the appropriate
RPC Type
for the PDU (or IPMI) being connected:
•
If you are connecting to the RPC via the network, you will be presented with the IPMI protocol
options and the SNMP RPC Types supported by the embedded Network UPS Tools
