Setting the BK7 reference sample when using the rotation stage

Set the BK7 reference sample on the rotation stage.
Adjust the holding chuck with the chuck knob to set the sample.
4.15. Adjusting the position of the BK7 reference sample when using
the rotation stage

Set the revolver to Through (no objective lens is attached).
(2)
Looking at the beam from the objective lens, use the shift adjuster to place it into the
desired position.
(3)
Adjust tilt of the BK7 reference sample.
Use the strength knob to adjust the strength properly. Then, looking at the FOCUS
window, use the angle knob to turn the BK7 reference sample to adjust its tilt in an
axis. At this adjustment, the position may be moved only in the horizontal direction of
the FOCUS window. The vertical angle has no mechanical effect on the
measurement.
Adjust the tilt so that the figure (X:***) at the upper left of the FOCUS window is within
(X:0±1).
