LOADING PAPER
INSERTING THE PRINT HEAD
1. Lift the paper positioning lever. 2. Insert the paper (max. 200
sheets of 80 g/m
2
paper) so the
recto side is facing the operator
console.
3. Lower the paper positioning
lever.
1. Lift the operator console and lift
the print head compartment
cover.
2. Remove the print carriage block
by pushing it towards the paper
cassette and then pulling it
upwards. Lower the cover and
the console. Switch on the
machine, wait for the message
"CHECK PRINT HEAD" to
appear on the display (see note)
and open the cover and the
console again.
3. Remove the print head from its
packing and peel off the
protective film from the nozzles.
NOTE: If the message appears in a foreign language, select the desired language by setting the
set-up parameter LANGUAGE SELECTION
