5. Close the print head compartment cover, lower the operator console and turn-on the

facsimile. Refer to the "Automatic Nozzle Cleaning and Testing Procedure".

Purging the Print Head

The print head purging procedure consists of aspirating the ink to unblock the nozzles.

1. Press PRINT.

  PRINT HEAD ADJUSTMENT
  PURGE PRINT HEAD

2. Press START.

3. At the end of the procedure, press STOP to exit from the menu.

Cleaning the Print Head Pad

1. Turn off the facsimile.

3. Move the print head as shown

in the figure.

4. Clean the print head pad with

a dry cotton wool swab.
