presence of the document to be
read.
Check that the document is
inserted in the ADF and that it is
positioned correctly.
02:IMPOSSIBLE CONNECTION
The machine does not detect any
dialling tone or it receives irregular
signals.
Check that the machine is
connected correctly to the line and
that the handset is not off the
hook. Contact the correspondent
and try to establish a connection
again.
03:RECEIVER DID NOT RESPOND
The remote machine is not
answering.
Contact the correspondent.
04:ERRORS WHILE TRANSMITTING
RESEND FROM PAGE. nn
An error was detected during
transmission (nn = number of page
on which error occurred).
Retransmit starting from the page
indicated in the Last Transmission
Report.
05:RESEND PAGES: nn,...,nn
The remote facsimile machine
detected faulty reception of some
pages (nn = number of page on
which error occurred).
Retransmit the pages indicated in
the Last Transmission Report.
06:ERRORS DURING TALK
A request for a telephone
conversation made during tran-

Contact the correspondent.
07:DOCUMENT TOO LONG
The document is too long. The time
required to send and receive it
exceeds the allowed limit.
