SENDING A FAX TO A SINGLE CORRESPONDENT
All transmission operations can be interrupted at any time by pressing the LINE STATUS and
STOP key at the same time (pressing LINE STATUS alone will display the operating status).
The "Display Messages" section lists the messages shown on the display during transmission
operations.
Immediate
I
Remember that if the set-up parameter "AUTOMATIC STORING" is disabled, the
document must be left in the ADF (otherwise the setting is cancelled) and the facsimile
machine cannot be used for other operations until the end of the transmission operation
in progress.
1. Insert the document in the ADF. The facsimile machine displays the message "DOCUMENT
INSERTED".
2. Dial the correspondent's number using any of the methods available. The facsimile machine
starts storing the document (the free memory percentage decreases). It then starts
transmission (the TX/RX LED lights up).
3. At the end of transmission, the TX/RX LED goes off. You can find out if the fax was sent
successfully by pressing LINE STATUS and checking that the free memory percentage has
returned to its maximum value.
