3. Remove the print head and
clean the electrical contacts
using a dry swab of cotton wool
without touching the printing

compartment cover.

on the print carriage with a

The print head has been replaced or
reinserted incorrectly.
Remove and reinsert the print head and then
carry out the "Automatic Nozzle Cleaning and
Testing Procedure".
There is one or more false contacts.
Carry out the "Cleaning the Electrical Contacts
of the Print Head" procedure and then carry out
the "Automatic Nozzle Cleaning and Testing
Procedure".
One or more contacts are broken.
Replace the print head.
