POLLING
STORING POLLING IDS
This section describes how to store the IDs to be used in secure polling transmission mode. The
IDs range from 01 to 10 and to each one is associated the CSI (max. 20 digits) of the user who
is authorized to make a polling request for one of your documents.
1. Press DATA.

display the ID to which a facsimile number is associated, for example, 03.

If the selected polling ID has already been associated with a facsimile number, the latter is
shown on the display. In this case, choose another ID (keys
∧∧∧∧∧
and
∨∨∨∨∨
) or take the following
steps to change the facsimile number associated with the polling ID.
5. Press START to set (or change) the facsimile number associated with the selected polling
ID (in this case 03). Type the digits that form the number on the numeric keypad, for example
440276.
SECURE POLLING ID.

6. Press START to confirm the polling ID set. The facsimile machine automatically prepares
for entry of the remaining polling IDs.
Repeat the procedure from step 4 if you want to continue to store the remaining polling IDs,
or press STOP twice to exit from the menu.
