If there are any unreasonable data (acoustic time of large
span is less than that of small span, crossing-crack acoustic
time is less than no crossing-crack acoustic time with same
test distance) in test, try to find out reason in time and retest
or verify it if necessary.

Ensure that internal and external edges of transmitting
and receiving transducers are tangent to drawn test
points during the test.
2. Test preparation

Power on instrument, select “Surface crack test” in startup
interface to enter into ultrasonic crack test software;

Connect signal wire of transmitting and receiving
transducers with transmitting and receiving channels of
instrument separately. Enter into parameter setup interface
to set project name, structural member name, crack number,
start point and spacing, etc.; set transmitting voltage and
sampling interval if necessary.

Zero acoustic time test: use grease to couple with two end
faces of transmitting and receiving transducers and press
“Zero setting”. Please refer to Section 3.6 for detailed
operation.
